Privacy Policy

02 — your data

This Privacy Policy explains how Do One Thing ("we", "us" — a trading name of Homeware Hut Limited, company no. 10333305) collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit doonething.co or purchase the Product.

1. What we collect

  • When you purchase: your name and email address, processed by Stripe on our behalf.
  • When you visit: anonymous, aggregated visit data via Plausible Analytics (no cookies, no personal identifiers).
  • When you contact us: any information you choose to share in your message.

We do not collect or store payment card details. All payment data is processed and stored by Stripe under their Privacy Policy (stripe.com/privacy).

2. Why we collect it

  • To deliver your purchase and provide ongoing access to re-downloads.
  • To respond to support requests.
  • To understand site traffic in aggregate (which content is working, where visitors come from).
  • If you opt in: to send occasional updates about Do One Thing.

3. Who we share it with

We share data only with providers that help us run the business:

  • Stripe (payment processing)
  • Hostinger (website hosting)
  • Plausible (anonymous analytics)

We do not sell your data. We do not share your email with advertisers.

4. Cookies

We do not use cookies for tracking. Plausible operates without cookies. Stripe may use cookies during the checkout flow — see their Privacy Policy for details.

5. Your rights

If you are in the UK, EU, or California, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request that we correct or delete it
  • Object to processing
  • Request a portable copy of your data

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@doonething.co. We will respond within 30 days.

6. Retention

We retain purchase records for as long as required by law (typically 7 years for tax purposes). Email addresses you've opted in for marketing are kept until you unsubscribe. Anonymous analytics data is retained indefinitely.

7. Security

We use providers with industry-standard security: Stripe is PCI-compliant, and our hosting and analytics providers use SSL and modern encryption. No system is completely secure — we take reasonable precautions but cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children
